activities Welcome to our new raising readers Activities Page!

Here you will find lots of fun, skill- based activities for children to get the most value and use out of our books.

We have worked with child development experts to develop some great hands on activities to coincide with the titles and themes of the raising readers books! As a healthcare provider, you have the opportunity to talk one on one with parents about the importance of reading to young children and how doing so helps the child's brain develop. We hope you will take time to mention to parents that these activities are available on line - this is another wonderful way for parents and children to learn together with Raising reader books!

Print some of the activities below and put them in your waiting room along with some crayons - this creates another opportunity for a child to spend quality time with a parent or caregiver and at the same time work on early literacy skills!
