There'll be fun, fun, fun at the children's museums in Bangor and Portland as we bring to life the books featured in our latest anthology of books by Maine authors/illustrators on:
Friday, September 24, at the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor
Friday, November 5, at the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine in Portland
Help raising readers celebrate it's 10th Anniversary with these special events at the Maine Discovery Museum and the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine. Families can join picture book creators Amy MacDonald, Scott Nash and Lynn Plourde for read alouds, book signings and fun, book-related activities. In addition to works by MacDonald, Nash and Plourde, the anthology, Books from Maine: A raising readers Collection, includes familiar stories from Robert McCloskey and Barbara Cooney.
