Join raising readers and Literacy Volunteers of Bangor at the children's book nook at Culturefest 2007 at the University of Maine on Saturday, October 27th.

Part of Literacy Volunteer's Bangor's Voices in Diversity: Parents and Children Celebrating Literacy Together series, the book nook provides the opportunity for families to experience children's books in a variety of languages. Families can enjoy a variety of literacy activities focused on Eric Carle's classic picture book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Listen to the book as it is read in several different languages and learn about the many ways families can enjoy books together now matter what language they speak or read.

Culturefest 2007 will be held in the Field House at the University of Maine, Orono on Saturday, October 27th, 10 am – 3:30 pm.
